A new online version of CSTS (CSTS-09) is available. Merit members can access the on-line CSTS-09 through the Merit website and member log-in process. For CSTS in Edmonton, please contact Naatasha Mann at 780-455-5999. For CSTS in Calgary, please contact Lisa Watson at 403-291-9247.

The new version will take 5-6 hours to complete.

Companies will be required to designate a company ‘proctor(s)’ who will oversee the individual during the exam process. Proctors must be pre-approved by Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA). Proctor forms are available on the Merit website. The ACSA approval process may take 1 - 2 days.

Merit Contractors Association, Construction, training, Merit College of Construction, CSTS, SafetyAn optional 2 hour CSTS-09 upgrade is available:
Current CSTS certificate holders (issued after January 1, 2004) are eligible to take a 2 hour CSTS-09 upgrade and receive an updated certificate. (This process does not require a proctor and is free of charge)
