at Edmonton Convention Centre.
Join us as we host an Evening of Excellence – A Night to Celebrate the Construction Industry. While postponing until 2021, we look forward to welcoming all at the Edmonton Convention Centre in June 2021. When we come together again we will toast the industry and those who make it great. And, once the awards are handed out everyone will enjoy a night of entertainment featuring a full-scale performance by The Jim Cuddy Band.
As one half of Blue Rodeo’s award-winning song writing duo, Jim Cuddy has one of the most recognizable voices in Canadian music thanks to hits such as “Try,” “5 Days in May,” and “Bad Timing.” In 1998, in between Blue Rodeo projects, Jim released his first solo album (All the Time) and hit the road with The Jim Cuddy Band. He has since recorded three more albums.
Merit is proud to have The Jim Cuddy Band join this evening of celebration to highlight skilled trades. Attendees will enjoy an amazing concert as well as recognize honourees for their achievements. They will also hear from Olympian and keynote speaker, Cassie Campbell-Pascall. After an inspiring presentation at the 2019 Awards, high demand led the team to invite her to return to join the celebration in 2021.
It is an honour to celebrate those in the construction industry and who work tirelessly to ensure our roads are smooth; infrastructure is secure and our homes are built to the highest standards. This evening is our thank you to those who dedicate their time and talent to the skilled trades.
